Career Information
During my Masters I focused my study on International Strategy and Organization. In April 1999 I graduated and obtained my Masters degree in International Business Studies at the
University of Maastricht. Besides Maastricht I spent a semester studying as an exchange student at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. Here my focus was primarily on Managing New Product Development and Product Evolution as to increase my knowledge on the importance of the integration of design, manufacturing, and marketing of products. Having completed topics on historical changes of multinational companies, technical market research tools and competitor analysis I have gained expertise on international fast moving consumer goods organizations.Last year I started working for Xerox as an Office Systems Specialist, focussing on clients in the retail and wholesale sector. Business to business in the fast evolving digital copying/printing world is a good first challenge in obtaining sufficient knowledge for further positions in- and outside this field. I therefore hope this site will be an aid and knowledge center for those seeking a continuous new challenge within their career path.
